The sounds are all excellent and the associated sequences are surprisingly good and support the associated sounds perfectly. It is the only bank that I have completely installed.

My Modal Cobalt 8X has never sounded so good. AtomicA Sounds has really brought out the very best from the Virtual Analogue engine in the Cobalt series of synths. Sounds are detailed and expertly programmed, covering a full range of sonic potential from delicate, dreamy, and sublime, through to powerful, raucous, and gut wrenching. Categorising this patch bank as ideal for Trance, Progressive, Techno and EDM, only tells half the story. While it is true there are some truly classic Trance stabs and pads, along with some great basses for EDM tracks, I know that these sounds offer themselves across many music styles due to their versatility.

Great Sounds and the sequences are a lot of fun!
These are some amazing sounds that cover a wide range of uses. Most of them are nearly the exact sounds you hear in a lot of EDM and Trance tracks. They are easy to customize and morph into a unique sound quickly. They really take advantage of the System 8's unique features such as it's supersaw waveforms. It's like the missing JP-8000 plugout that Roland never made when they completely forgot about the System 8.
